#@: New Balance Men s MW846 Walking Shoe

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for about 10 years. I've had MW792 shoes for about 3 years for casual wear. I started looking for a hiking shoe and noticed that every time I tried on a pair of hiking shoes, then put my old shoes back on, they felt much better than the new ones. I decided to use my MW792's for hiking and love them even more (they took me to Nevada Falls and Chilnualna Falls in Yosemite a few weeks ago). I tried to buy a new pair to replace them, but they are discontinued, so I went to a New Balance store and told them that. They pulled out a replacement shoe (one with the same last [SL-1] and approx. price) and I liked them immediately, but the sales lady said she had one more with the same last to try. I put on one of each and the MW846's made the other shoe feel ordinary. The MW846's have more cushioning in them. Fell in love with them and they feel better each day I wear them. The only negative is the laces are a bit short. I'll buy some the right length since gas costs too much to drive back to the store to get them swapped out. Also after wearing them a week, then wearing my old MW792's to hike in, I'm considering buying another pair for hiking only. A bit pricey but I feel they are worth it. They come in black if you don't want bright white.
